Friday - I was listening to Vincent Munier speaking at Norway's first nature photo festival. I don't often share images and neither do I have the right words for how much the images and the presentation took my breath away. Thanks for the nice chat as well Vincent!

I want to thank all all of you who have greeted me today - on my birthday - I´m overwhelmed. My heart, mind and eyes are are wide open and all the messages warms my heart - let us all fight for a better world where our fellow living beings are as important as us. Im in Norway now and attended the Nordic Nature Photo Contest award ceremony yesterday since I was 1´prize winner of the category : ""My photo-journey" (fotoreisen) with a collection from Hokkaido, Japan, as shown here and in this link: www.nnpc.no/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=24&Itemid=57&lang=no.
I bagged even a "highly commended" in the bird category.
A big congratulation to my fellow award winners and to the new Champion of Nordic Nature Photo, Audun Rikardsen, fantastic images of his amongst many others. Norway is a leading force in Nordic Nature Photography at the moment.

They killed a huge old buffalo bull. Devoured it rapidly and in the morning of second day it was time to leave. Only bones and 14 hyenas were left. The lions are alarmingly declining in all Africa. Lobo- Serengeti at 12800 ISO.

I just had a fantastic safari with my Temaresorfoto-group. We had marvelous wildlife encounters with lot of animals and interesting behavior. The cameras went warm while we were fighting off the tse-tse flies as well.

RESPECT ! The saltwater crocodile (Crocodylus porous) is the biggest member of the crocodiles and a huge one can wait around  400 kg to 1 ton. This image is from my last Borneo tour at the Kinnabatang River. The crocodiles are together with the birds a living link from
the ancient archosaurs (härskarödlor). Nearly 100 miljon years in an unchanged and winning design. Homo-species (man and ancestors) have been around for only 2 miljon years. Respect in all ways !
