In deep of the Amazon

Out of the Amazonas - the amazing Yasuni National Park in Ecuador. The Common Blunthead ( or egg-eating snake) is thin like a pencil and looong and eats eggs of reptiles and small birds. On the night walks my guides and I encountered a myriad of the most astonishing creatures. Some insects and invertebrates looked from outer space. The Yasuni is one this planets greatest hotspots of biodiversity. I photographed giant otters, macaws, snakes, monkeys of many kinds, scorpions, a myriad of birds, caimans and the deep of the forest. After it was straight to the Andean cloud forests - but that is another story.
